No health information on this website

This website is for general information and first contact. It is not a patient portal and is not designed to collect protected health information (PHI). Please don't share details about your health, symptoms, diagnoses, or treatment through the contact form or by email.

The contact form

When you send the contact form, the details you type are emailed to me so I can reply: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if you give it), how you'd like to be reached, and your message. The email is delivered through Resend, an email delivery service.

The website itself does not save form submissions in a database. Your message is kept in my practice email inbox. If you'd like me to delete a message you sent, email stavros@roottobloomny.com.

Hosting, cookies, and analytics

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to deliver the site, protect it from abuse, and keep short-term logs that help fix errors.

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics tools.

Booking, intake, and billing

Scheduling, intake paperwork, video sessions, and your therapy records are handled by Headway on its own secure platform, not on this website, along with billing for sessions billed to insurance. Self-pay sessions are paid directly to Root to Bloom Counseling LCSW, PLLC. Information you give Headway is covered by its privacy policy. Once you become a client, your therapy information is protected under the federal and New York State privacy laws that apply to health records.

Links to other websites

This site links to other organizations, such as Psychology Today, Headway, and crisis lines. Their websites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
